Unless otherwise stated, events in the 2220 Arts + Archives lounge and theater are age 21+ when the bar is open. Select screenings or concerts confined to the theater may be age 18+ if stated on the event listing. Free events in the 2220 Archives may be all ages when the bar is closed.

We typically open doors 30-45 min before concerts begin, and close the bar 30-45 min after the end of the final act. For film screenings, we encourage timely arrival, and may close the door or prohibit entry 15 minutes after the program starts, to respect our viewers and filmmakers.

In terms of COVID restrictions, 2220 abides by city, county and state regulations and adapts to regional constraints as they are announced. As of 2023, indoor masking is elective. Similarly, while we recommend vaccination, we do not check vaccination status at the door, absent additional government requirements.

As we work with many different presenters and artists, we respect and defer to their specific preferences for greater safety measures at certain events. Some individual presenting organizations and promoters may ask for additional safeguards (such as compulsory masking), in which case these will be indicated on our event listings.
